Lukas Gut is a Swiss cinematographer based in Zurich.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Film from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts in 2014 and finished his Master’s studies in Cinematography at the Zurich University of the Arts in 2023.
Through his passion for emotional imagery and intense collaboration with the director, he develops a precise visual language that puts the narration in focus.
His short documentary as cinematographer, „The Game“ by Roman Hodel, premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2020 and was nominated for the Golden Frog at Camerimage in 2021.
